ReWire Electric LLC was founded in 2018 by Francis Ward and his wife, Gia Ward, with one goal: to provide honest, high-quality electrical work backed by professionalism, safety, craftsmanship, and exceptional customer service.
As a family-owned and operated business, we understand the importance of trust. While raising our four children, we’ve built ReWire Electric around the belief that every customer’s home or business should be treated with the same care and respect we would expect in our own.
Francis is an ICC-tested Philadelphia Licensed Master Electrician serving residential and commercial customers throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. He also holds EPA Section 608 Type I and Type II certifications, allowing ReWire Electric to properly and legally handle refrigerants associated with qualifying mini-split installations and residential HVAC service work.
Education and code knowledge are a major part of how we operate. Francis participates in continuing electrical education every year through the Electrical Education Center, helping ensure our work stays current with evolving electrical codes, installation methods, safety requirements, and industry best practices.
ReWire Electric is also a member of the Electrical Association of Philadelphia, giving us continued access to industry education, code updates, professional resources, and the broader electrical contracting community.
Gia serves as ReWire Electric’s Permit & Inspection Coordinator, managing permit applications, utility coordination, inspection scheduling, and project documentation. Her attention to detail helps keep projects organized, compliant, and moving efficiently from the initial permit application through final inspection.
